While the IGA at Triabunna may not be massive, it does hold a huge variety of foods and other items. The staff are always friendly and helpful - even when they have to serve rrude customers, which I witnessed during my visit there. Well done to the female staff member who kept her cool and remained polite and professional during that transaction with a rude male customer!!
The local IGA supermarket is located at the corner of Vicary St. and Charles St. and is open from around 7am to 7.30pm daily. We found them open throughout the Easter holiday recently which was nice. This IGA has a good selection of veg, fruits, meats, eggs, cheese, bread along with an expected range of packaged and canned goods, snacks and drinks, convenient if you need to restock your camper or caravan while in Triabunna.
Exceptional customer service. The owner, Mark, went out of his way to supply and fit a new battery in our car key fob. We were there to also stock up for the next 5 days of supplies on our trip around Tassie and the IGA had all we needed.
Love that my local IGA staff are 1. incredible 2. wonderful 3. astonishing and I can have a friendly chat with them while doing my shopping
First place open for coffee. It’s a self-serve coffee machine, but, when you need a coffee you need a coffee.
Make sure you go in and have a look what hot food the IGA guys have before going to the local Takeaway across the road. It’s much cheaper and much tastier. These guys do a good job to keep the prices lower than most supermarkets in the Hobart area keep up the good work guys.
Well supplied, as the last stop before the Mariah island ferry one would expect some more camping supplies, or easy prep meals. Prices aren't bad though. The shop is a little bit too small so it may feel a bit cramped.
